Food carries this place! I took my Korean girlfriend here and she approved. We tried the Dakgangjeong appetizer with Korean BBQ sauce, and the Spicy Bulgogi Dolsot. Both really tasty, especially the Dakgangjeong! The place is relatively clean and restrooms are okay, considering how old this place has been running since. Staff is fast to service too! In short, I'm coming here again!
Came here to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We ordered tuna roll, spider roll vegetarian roll, California roll, and dragon roll. Although endowed with extra Rice, each of the rolls were Delicious (definitely with a capital D)! The miso soup was banal, but the salad took up the slack! I would definitely recommend this place, and we WILL be back
Food is super. The discount on rolls really surprised me. Staffs are very friendly. Ambiance is good. Highly recommended.
Headed from Indianapolis to Chicago with some coworkers, all hungry, got on Yelp to find a nearby restaurant, and, since we all like sushi, decided to stop at Sushi Don in Lafayette and try it. We got menus at the counter, sat down to review, then went back up to order. The miso soup is self serve from cafaes which gave a cafeteria vibe but worked, and a little self serve salad area with greens, carrots, mushrooms, ginger dressing etc. The ginger dressing was a little watery but the mushrooms looked really fresh, and I put some of those in my soup as well. Our group ordered several different rolls, and we it all came out rather quickly. This is not the most amazing sushi in the world, but it was all good, and a really good value for the price. #yum #ReviewsByRL
Everything was so delicious as you can see! It looked so good so we just dug in and I completely forgot to take a before pic but, we had an ultimate rainbow roll,Shrimp tempura roll and there new dish Hot stone pot Bugolgi. If you dine in you get complimentary salad and miso soup. Great service our waiter Noah was so efficient!!!
My husband just went to sushi don and they are once again a sit-in restaurant! I'm so happy. In the past, before they changed over, we would go probably twice a month sometimes three. After the change over to a takeout place we tried it a couple of times but we were disappointed. The quality of sushi that sits in a cooler is nothing compared to freshly made. Now they are back! I can hardly wait to go.
